Thanks to everyone who came out to Dunn-Gaherin's in Newton last night to help celebrate Sean's 37th birthday! We had a great crowd and everyone had a lot of fun. (More photos at Sean's Facebook page.) Today, some of our wonderful volunteers showed up with a carrot cake and some fun hats they had made for Sean: If you'd like to join Team Bielat and volunteer to help send Sean to Congress, contact Norm Fay at norm@seanbielat.org.  Baking cakes not required. ;-)

Support from bloggers, both locally and around the country, was crucial in Sean's 2010 challenge against Barney Frank, and is again proving to be helpful in getting our message out. If you'd like to participate in the next blogger conference call, or get on our press mailing list, please contact Communications Director Sarah Rumpf at sarah@seanbielat.org. Here are some recent blog posts about the campaign: Full Asylum by Michael Isenberg | 5/2/2012 | It Takes a Marine ...I was impressed by Sean’s willingness to take on the difficult issues. I wrote previously that, without cuts in defense, Social...
